We are the most watched digital TV service in the UK – around 19 million homes use Freeview. And now we’ve launched Freeview Play, we’re giving viewers even more choice and control with catch up and live TV all in one place. And as ever with Freeview, it’s all subscription free.
In 2002, Freeview was launched by DTV Services Ltd – a company owned and run by BBC, Sky, Channel 4, ITV and Arqiva. We began with just 25 free to air channels, now you can watch more than 60 and up to 12 HD channels through your aerial.
