    More info

Hard drives are built into the Freeview recorder so you don't need a tape or disc to record a program.

How it works- when programmes are recorded they are written onto a hard disk inside the Freeview recorder. If you want to watch the program later on, the hard drive simply reads the program back and plays it on your TV. If you set your Freeview + recorder to record a program, the timer automatically switches the tuner to the right channel and turns on the hard drive when the program comes on.

Good Points
Very easy to list programmes already recorded, far better than changing discs, or searching vhs tape.

Very easy to list programmes to record from the Guide screen
Bad Points
I would prefer the play button to be between the < and > rather than below them, as is more common on other remote controls, but otherwise, there does not appear to be anything else which I would wish to change.

Good Points
Once installed it's really easy to use
Bad Points
The instruction booklet is a nightmare and written in an 'alien' tekky language. Far too complicated.
