    Hard drives are built into the Freeview recorder so you don't need a tape or disc to record a program.

    How it works- when programmes are recorded they are written onto a hard disk inside the Freeview recorder. If you want to watch the program later on, the hard drive simply reads the program back and plays it on your TV. If you set your Freeview + recorder to record a program, the timer automatically switches the tuner to the right channel and turns on the hard drive when the program comes on.

As well as being able to access your standard Freeview channels and Freeview HD channels, the Technika SmartBox can connect to the internet giving you access to a wealth of online content. With thousands of hours of movies and TV on demand you can watch the latest blockbusters and popular TV programmes on your TV! There is also an online TV guide with remote recording capability to set recordings on your SmartBox for when you are not at home. This recorder will store up to 160 hours of standard definition recordings or 60 hours of HD content.
