4Music replaces The Hits on 15 August.

From the 15th August 2008, The Hits (Freeview channel 18) will be replaced by 4Music.

4Music promises to bring viewers closer to the music they love. 4Music will offer a selection of music shows that includes exclusive live events, original series, unmissable performances and a range of entertainment programmes. Not to forget a mix of exclusive, new and classic video content.

To receive 4Music, you may need to retune.

If your digital box or TV does not retune automatically then you will need to perform a manual retune on 15 August.

To manually retune you need to press "Menu" on your remote control and follow the on-screen instructions or those printed in your manual. A typical sequence is:

1. Press MENU on your remote control.
2. From the Menu options, select the 'Tuning Menu'
3. Select 'Auto Setup' or 'Update' to retune your digital box or TV (also referred to as 'Update', 'Rescan', 'Replace' or 'Store Channels')
