Engineering work affecting analogue viewers in the Market Drayton area

On the 3rd September viewers receiving analogue TV in the Market Drayton area will lose this service for up to 24 hours.

Engineering work is taking place on The Wrekin transmitter which serves north Shropshire and south Cheshire to prepare the area for digital switchover which takes place in 2011.

To continue watching TV through this period, viewers will need to convert their TV to digital. This can be done for as little as £20 with a Freeview set top box .

For more information on the work at The Wrekin you can call Digital UK, the company responsible for leading the UK's switchover from analogue to digital TV.
