Digital UK is the organisation leading digital switchover in the UK. It will keep you posted on what's happening in your area. You'll see announcements on television, stories in the papers and magazines, plus local events where you can ask the people themselves. Digital UK are also writing to everyone before the signal switches to digital, giving people specific timings and offering all the information and advice needed. For more information, go to

When Switchover comes to your area, you'll have to make sure each television in the house can receive digital TV. It's really straightforward, and you can get a digital box or digital TV recorder to work with your existing TV. If you fancy a new telly, then all the digital TVs out there come with Freeview inside so you're set to enjoy the wonder of free TV land.
