Over the years, with the help of a local rancher, he manages to keep the dangerous gunman at bay - until the two meet up one night on the town's dark streets. A beautiful, wistful elegiac of the American West and the notion of legend versus reality, it is arguably among the best work that Ford, Wayne and Stewart produced.

The final dinner is served by Nathalie, who plans to win over her guests by showing them a different side to her character - until someone makes an interesting discovery in her wardrobe.

However, Lewis does not believe that Thornton's death was suicide.

She has no feeling down her left side and the team are worried that she may have serious spinal injuries. Pregnant Jill is in pain after a severe haemorrhage and fears that she may lose the baby, while four-year-old Destiny has a fishbone stuck in his tonsils.

In 2009, a group of scientists stumbled upon the fossil of a creature deep in the Cerrejon coal mines in Colombia - a snake that would have spanned 48 feet and weighed over a tonne. A relative of modern boa constrictors, the Titanoboa lived in the rainforest of north-east Colombia 58 million years ago. Using CGI and scintillating cutting-edge science, the programme re-creates a time before dinosaurs, where giant reptiles such as the Titanoboa fought to become the planet's top predators.

With a 400 per cent increase in the number of incarcerated women in the US in the last 30 years, prison births are becoming an increasingly regular occurrence. Many of the inmates are forced to give up their babies after just 24 hours, but the lucky ones get to keep their newborn children in a special prison nursery - Wee Ones, which was launched in 2007. The programme explores the personal stories of several prisoners, including Donna, who is serving a three-year sentence.
