Border

The Border Region has now switched over and almost the whole region will now be able to receive Freeview.

To highlight the need to update recoding equipment Freeview held a VCR amnesty and Freeview lounge tour.

Digital UK will keep you updated on further changes in the Border region now that switchover has taken place.

Selkirk Transmitter

Serving the Scottish Borders

The Selkirk transmitter and its 11 relays, completed the switchover process on 20 November 2008.

Caldbeck Transmitter

Serving Cumbria & Dumfries & Galloway

The switchover process for the Caldbeck transmitter and its 38 relays completed switchover on 22 July 2009.

Douglas Transmitter

Serving the Isle of Man

The Douglas transmitter area and its 9 relays, serving the Isle of Man completed switchover on 16 July 2009.
