What is switchover?
Digital TV Switchover
Digital TV switchover is the programme that will provide digital TV to almost everyone in the UK. Once it is complete the old analogue TV signals will be shut down. The process started in 2007 and TV region by region, it’s now happening across the UK. By 2012 all of the UK will be digital.
If you have Freeview now then you are already getting digital TV. Make sure you convert all the TVs in your home with a digital box before switchover.
