Retune required for those with Freeview in North Wales
Viewers receiving their signal from the main Moel y Parc transmitter in North Wales are recommended to complete a retune of their Freeview equipment on
Wednesday 2 December to continue watching the services available to them.
For some viewers it will make channels such as Film4, Dave and Sky 3 available to them for the first time.
How do I retune my equipment?
To find out how to re-tune your digital TV equipment, please check your user guide for full details. If you don't have a copy of the user guide to hand please use our easy-to-follow instructions:
Press 'menu' on your remote control.
From the 'menu' options on screen, select the 'set up' or 'installation' menu. Select 'first time installation' or 'update'
Some digital televisions, boxes and TV recorders will ask you for a code. If you haven't already changed it this is usually either 0000 or 1234.
You may have to wait a couple of minutes for the re-tune to complete.
