Sometimes the electronic equipment in your digital box might suffer from a data error. Examples include; frozen pictures and channels, remote control failure and failed function lights.
A simple reset can usually help to fix the problems above. To perform a reset switch the power to your box and / or TV off at the wall for about 5 minutes. When you switch the power back on the box / TV reboots its software which normally fixes the problem.
Should it fail to do so you could try doing a full reboot and retune.
The basic procedure is as follows:
(There are various different makes of digital box / IDTV on the market and the exact procedure might vary slightly between models, contact your manufacturer's helpline if in doubt).
If the appliance still does not function properly then you should contact the manufacturer's helpline for further advice.
If it does function OK but is still not finding the full range of channels you had before we recommend you have your aerial and cabling checked. It is possible your aerial has become damaged or corroded or has possibly been moved out of position slightly.
