How do I record Freeview channels on a VCR?
Two basic things need to happen to record the same show you're watching. A second scart lead needs to be plugged into you VCR from your digital box, and then ensure you select the right channel on the VCR to record what you can see on your TV.
An easier option for recording digital TV is to use a digital TV recorder (DTRs). With a digital TV recorder, it is much easier to record digital TV as there are usually two Freeview tuners built in. This mean you can watch one channel and record another, record and pause live TV and record whole series at the touch of a button. Look out for the DTRs with the Freeview+ logo. (Some DTRs may also display the Freeview Playback logo)
