As each region around the the UK is switched over to digital all viewers will need to choose how to adapt their current television systems.
There are already a number of digital options for consumers to choose from. You can buy a Freeview digital box to convert existing televisions or purchase a new TV which already has a Freeview digital tuner inside.
Alternatively cable, satellite and internet options are available.
