Will I need a new aerial?

If you have Freeview coverage at your address, then usually you will be all set with your existing aerial. But great TV deserves great reception, so older aerials or those that have taken a beating through weather might need some attention.

In some cases your aerial will need to be upgraded to receive all the channels available to you. If you need a new rooftop aerial, to repair an existing aerial or better quality aerial cable, then you'll need to pay an aerial installer to carry out the work. Some installers offer a survey from around £30 and might even refund the charge from the cost of installing a new aerial, and those start around £80.

A local installer will understand the circumstances and local geography in your area and suggest the best option available to you.
