Five Life Changing to FIVER

Five has announced that from the 28 April, Five Life (Freeview channel 36) will be replaced by FIVER.

FIVER will hold on to the best bits of Five Life, but be younger, faster and louder.  It will feature exclusive new shows, blockbuster movies and US series such as Sofia’s Diary, Celebrity Rehab, Sex and the City and Dirt.

To receive FIVER, you may need to retune.

If your digital box or TV does not retune automatically then you will need to perform a manual retune on 28 April.

To manually retune you need to press "Menu" on your remote control and follow the on-screen instructions or those printed in your manual. A typical sequence is:

1. Press MENU on your remote control.
2. From the Menu options, select the 'Tuning Menu'
3. Select 'Auto Setup' or 'Update' to retune your digital box or TV (also referred to as 'Update', 'Rescan', 'Replace' or 'Store Channels')
