Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, there have been some changes to the in-home support available to eligible viewers following Government-required changes to Freeview channels.

In accordance with advice from Public Health England (PHE), and in the interest of preventing the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), Home Support visits are currently only being provided to households who have no access to any TV news on at least one of the main Public Service Broadcast (PSB) channels* and the household views the restoration of those services as essential.

Visits will be conducted following the advice given by PHE on social distancing.

Any other Home Support appointments have been temporarily postponed until government guidance on movement changes.

If you have been referred for in-home support by the Freeview Advice Line and it is not possible to arrange a visit because you or anyone in your household have been asked or have chosen to self-isolate, the Home Support team will call you back once the isolation period is completed.
