Following required changes to TV signals in the Fenham area on 13 November 2019, some Freeview channels will no longer be broadcast from the Fenham transmitter. We understand viewers will be disappointed with this change. The vast majority of channels will continue as normal.
- Most channels affected are +1 or HD variants and the main versions of these will still be available.
- Viewers with Freeview Play equipment and other Smart TVs can also watch programmes from a number of these channels on-demand, including in HD on BBC iPlayer.
- Programmes may also be available on the Freeview mobile app.
HD versions of BBC One, BBC Two, ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5 are not affected.
