Based on a true story, starring Hugh Grant and Ben Wishaw. A Very English Scandal enraptured critics and audiences alike when it first aired in 2018. It tells the story of Jeremy Thorpe, the leader of the Liberal Party in the late 1960s, who is desperate to hide his affair with Norman Scott. As long as Norman Scott is around, Thorpe's brilliant career is at risk, and eventually Thorpe can see only one way to silence Scott for good.

Set in and around the Manchester 'scene', this groundbreaking Channel 4 drama, documents the lives and loves of young gay men Stuart, Vince and Nathan. 

Cucumber, All 4

Cucumber is an exploration of 21st Century gay life. Henry and Lance are contented, but when they embark on a disastrous date night, life will never be the same again. At work, Henry is drawn to the enigmatic Freddie, while Lance greets Daniel.

Banana, All 4

A companion series to Cucumber, Banana is an anthology series about LGBT youth in Manchester. In the first episode we meet 19-year-old Dean, played by Fisayo Akinade, has a job, a flat and all the sex he wants. But no matter how fast he runs, his problems are catching up with him.

Years and Years, BBC iPlayer

Starring Emma Thompson, Rory Kinnear and Russel Tovey. Years and Years is a dystopian drama that opens in 2019 - when right wing politician Vivien Rook is starting out in her career. The drama then fast forwards to 2024, and Rook now has a dictatorial hold on power.
