Round Up: Freeview News and Reviews

August 27th, 2010

After 11 weeks, Big Brother announced its winner of 2010. Josie took the reality TV title on Tuesday night only to be thrown back in the house again with ghosts from BB past. Now Josie has left, again, ex-housemates Nikki, Brian, Chantelle and Preston (above), to name a few, are now locked in a battle to be crowned the ‘Ultimate Big Brother’ winner. Who wins? You decide.

The X Factor made its return to ITV last weekend, firmly securing its place as one of the UK’s most popular shows. Stand-out acts (for the wrong reasons) included G & S, Sherlina Johnson and Jahm, all of whom had their moment in the spotlight. The X Factor, Saturdays at 7.30pm on ITV.

Jedward Let Loose began on ITV2 this week. The reality show follows the troublesome twosome as they release their album and deal with the media attention following last year’s X factor. Catch Ireland’s answer to Bross, plus THAT hair, Tuesdays at 9pm.

Lastly, Don’t Tell The Bride is in its fourth series on BBC Three. £12,000, one wedding, all organised by the groom – check out the tears and tantrums on Tuesday at 9pm.

  8. The names of the winners will be available after the 3rd of September by writing to the Promoter at the address below.

  9. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for lost, unauthorized, misdirected and incomplete entries, all of which are invalid and void, or for difficulties experienced in submitting an entry to this promotion.

  11. The decision of the Promoter shall be final.  The Promoter reserves the right at any time: (i) to verify, or have a third party verify, that any entrant meets the eligibility requirements and has complied with these terms and conditions; and/or (ii) to disqualify any entry; and/or (iii) to amend these terms and conditions.

  12. Entrant details will be used for the purposes of the competition and details will not be passed to third parties.
