Horror Bites and CBS Catchup Channels UK launch on Freeview Play

Freeview Play viewers can now enjoy catch up and box set content from Horror Channel, CBS Reality, newly rebranded CBS Justice and CBS Drama

Freeview Play viewers can now watch catch up and on demand content from the CBS UK Channel Portfolio, with the launch of two brand new players; Horror Bites and CBS Catchup Channels UK. Both players are currently only available to the Freeview Play platform.

Catch up and on demand content from Horror Channel, CBS Reality, CBS Justice, CBS Drama will be available for up to 30 days after broadcast. Viewers will be able to access the shows from the backwards EPG as well as Search and Recommendation areas across Freeview Play devices.

This week, viewers will be able to catch up on episodes of “Written in Blood,” “NCIS,” “Star Trek: Enterprise” and “Evidence of Evil,” alongside many others. There is also a wide range of movies available on Horror Bites such as Troy: The Odyssey, 30,000 Leagues Under the Sea, Wake in Fear and Confined.

Freeview Play viewers now have access to over 35 catch up channels, with no subscription. Horror Bites and CBS Catchup Channels UK join BBC iPlayer, ITV Hub, All 4, Demand 5 and UKTV Play on the Freeview Play on demand line up.

The update is available to all Freeview Play devices, with the exception of LG and Bang and Olufsen, these models will be updated in 2019.
