Freeview viewers across parts of the country could see some disruption to their TV reception between Monday 9th and Tuesday 10th October.  This is due to high pressure which could disrupt the TV signals which Freeview uses.

You are advised not to retune your TV during this time - reception will be restored once the high pressure passes.

The BBC have published a short video which provides a detailed explanation of how high pressure affects TV signals.  To watch the video please visit the BBC article “How high-pressure weather conditions can affect your Freeview reception”.
