Some BBC channels moved to new airwaves at the Pontop Pike transmitter on 12 September 2019.

If you receive your TV signal from here and are missing your main BBC services, retuning your Freeview TV or box should restore them in most cases.

If you can’t watch these channels on their normal numbers (e.g. 1 for BBC One, 2 for BBC Two) after completing a full retune, you may need a new aerial.

For more information or help with this call the Freeview Advice Line on Freephone 0808 100 0288.

You may be eligible for free in-home support, including aerial work if this is required.

Temporarily, you may be able to find your BBC channels lower down in the TV guide from channel number 751 onwards.
