Freeview Mobile App

What is the Freeview mobile app?

Tired of searching through different apps to find something to watch? We’ve made it extra easy for you by bringing together a host of shows to watch live or on demand, all through the new Mobile App from Freeview.

Browse through our concise Now and Next feature or go straight to the TV Guide to catch up on content from the last 7 days.

Set reminders and we’ll tell you when your favourite show is about to start, so you never miss a thing. If you already know exactly what you’re in the mood for, you can also search to get immediate results or suggestions from today, or from our On Demand catalogue – all while on the move.

The Freeview app brings together the nation’s favourite live and on demand TV shows. From our app, you can easily link to content from BBC iPlayer, ITV Hub, All 4, My 5, UKTV Play –you will need to have these apps downloaded first.

You may already have these apps installed, but if not, you can also find the list of catch-up apps in the My Freeview area of the Freeview app at any time.

Do I need to be connected to the internet to use the app?

Yes and no. Just like Freeview on your TV at home, the mobile app from Freeview brings you free content when you’re on the move.

Just make sure you have an active connection to Wi-Fi or your data network when browsing or watching Live and On Demand.
