Freeview is a UK-based service, we're not set up for broadcasting outside of the UK due to licensing and distribution rights for the content we carry. This means Freeview devices purchased in the UK will not work outside of the UK.
However If you are a UK resident and wish to watch Freeview content while on holiday, before you travel, just use the Freeview mobile app to find any on demand or catch-up content you want to watch, then download the programme within the individual player. You can then watch it through that player, wherever you are. You will need to do this within the UK as you will not be able to download content outside of the country.
