Competing against the posh neighbouring school for the honour of the best-reviewed show in town, the stakes are raised when Paul idly boasts that his ex-girlfriend Jennifer, a Hollywood producer, is coming to see his show with a view to turning it into a film. The only trouble is - they haven't spoken in years...

Merlin, BBC iPlayer

A comic fantasy drama based on the legends of King Arthur and Merlin when they are teenagers. With magic outlawed in Camelot, Merlin has to keep his talents secret whilst also fulfilling his destiny of protecting Prince Arthur. The pair of them have some hilarious adventures, and all five series are currently available on BBC iPlayer. 

Swallows and Amazons, BBC iPlayer

Based on the famous novel by Arthur Ransome, the film Swallows and Amazons is available to watch now. Four children dream of escaping the tedium of a summer holiday with their mother. When finally given permission to camp on their own on an island in the middle of a vast lake in the Lake District, they are overjoyed. But when they get there they discover they may not be alone. The battle for ownership of a lonely island teaches them the skills of survival, the value of friendship and the importance of holding your nerve.

The Noughties classic family sitcom is streaming now on All 4. The comedy follows reluctant child genius as he manages being the middle child in his dysfunctional family. 

The Bear, All 4

After Tilly loses her teddy bear at the zoo, it is returned to her by a polar bear and the two then begin a magical friendship with humorous complications. Based on Raymond Briggs' best selling storybook, this enchanting and magical animated tale is from the makers of The Snowman with accompanying music by Charlotte Church.
