The stage is set – Britain’s Got Talent is back!

Posted April 8, 2016 - Blog Posts

This Saturday sees Britain’s Got Talent return for its 10th series. To say we’re excited is an understatement.

With the loveable Ant and Dec hosting again, and Simon, David, Alesha and Amanda all back to cast their eyes over this year’s entrants, we’re sure this year’s series will be a showstopper.

To get us in the mood for Saturday, we’ve picked some of our favourites moments from the last nine series.

And where else could we start than with the most memorable BGT audition ever. Susan Boyle hit our screens in 2009, going on to became a global sensation thanks to her rendition of I Dreamed A Dream.

Way back in the very first series, Paul Potts blew everyone away with his version of Nessum Dorma.

With their stunning choreography, street dance group Diversity were more than a match for SuBo in 2009.

Our jaws hit the floor in 2010 when acrobatic troupe Spelbound brought their mind boggling physical feats to the stage.

Completely unique, shadow theatre group Attraction won BGT in 2013 with a routine so moving it left the judges (and us) in tears.

Illusionist Dracy Oake stunned the watching world with his performance two years ago. We still don’t know how he does it.

And, last year’s BGT star turn, Jules and Matisse, prove that we really are a nation of animal lovers.

So, be sure to tune into the new series of Britain’s Got Talent for more memory making TV when it returns on Saturday April 9th at 8pm. And remember, you can watch all the performances, good and not so good, here on Freeview.
