Say hello to Spike and goodbye to your social life.

We’re excited to announce that on Wednesday 15 April at 8pm Spike is coming to Freeview Channel 31.

Spike’s mission is to provide smart, sharp, hard-edged drama and a dose of fun entertainment. From Breaking Bad to Lip Sync Battle, take a look at the shows that are going to get you better acquainted with your sofa.

Breaking Bad

Breaking Bad on Spike

This will be the first time that Breaking Bad will be shown in its entirety on British TV. Unless you’ve been living under a rock you will know that Breaking Bad is the award winning series telling the story of Walter White and his rise from chemistry teacher to criminal mastermind.

We join Walt right at the beginning of series one where he is faced with his mortality and has some difficult decisions to make. Sit back and enjoy the wild ride and be careful, it’s addictive.

Breaking Bad premieres on Spike at 11pm on Wednesday 15 April.

Fail Army

Fail Army on Spike

The wildly popular YouTube sensation has had a TV makeover and will be filling your screens with home video footage of funny mishaps caught on camera.

The show has been described as ‘You’ve Been Framed’ meets ‘Jackass’. So expect mistimed skateboard jumps, scream inducing pranks and a plethora of weird and wonderful cat videos all with the aim to make you laugh your socks clean off.

You can catch the first episode of Fail Army on Spike on Wednesday 15 April at 9pm.

Police Interceptors

Police Interceptors on Spike

Police Interceptors follows the work of high-speed police interception units in Essex, South Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Cumbria. You’ll see high-speed chases by performance patrol cars, cutting-edge tech and highly trained dog units.

The show also marks the TV return of actor and former professional footballer, Vinnie Jones, who will front the show.

Police Interceptors on Spike at 7pm and 8pm on Wednesday 15 April.

The Walking Dead

Walking Dead on Spike

The Walking Dead is a ‘horror drama’ based upon the comic book series of the same name.

We join Rick Grimes, the former Sheriff’s deputy who has been in a coma for several months after being shot while on duty. When he wakes, he discovers that the world has been taken over by flesh-eating zombies. Not ideal.

He finds his way to a small group of survivors and we follow them as they fend off the zombie hordes as well as competing with other survivor groups who are prepared to do whatever it takes to survive.

It’s definitely time to hide behind your cushions.

The Walking Dead is coming to Spike at midnight on Tuesday 21 April.

Lip Sync Battle

Lip Sync Battle on Spike

Celebrities pair up to do battle each week using lip sync as their weapon. The audience is the judge, deciding which candidate does the best lip sync performance.

Lip Sync battle began as a segment on ‘Late Night with Jimmy Fallon’ with comedian Stephen Merchant. It was so popular, Jimmy made it a regular feature, and it became a worldwide YouTube Sensation. Watch out for Anne Hathaway performing Wrecking Ball. Amazing.

Lip Sync Battle launches on Spike at 9.30pm on Wednesday 15 April.

Spike launches at 8pm on Wednesday 15th April. Join us on Twitter/Facebook and share in the excitement! What show are you looking forward to watching?
